Antonia Veronica Hancel

Antonia V. Hancel was born on June 13th, 1954, in Colon, Panama to the late Edward & Dorothy Williams. Antonia departed this physical life and transitioned to be with the Lord on October 10th, 2022. Antonia moved from Colon, Panama to the United States in 1965 with her parents and siblings where they settled and started a new life in New York City. Antonia later left NY to set her family roots in Orlando, Florida. Antonia's love for caring for others landed her into dedicating 30 years to being a Certified Nurse Assistant. She loved working with and traveling with her clients and including them in family gatherings. Antonia loved sewing and later developed the love for a good DIY project. DIYs and many other passions were passed on and shared with all of her children. Along with a new career and love for crafts, Antonia met Wilford Hancel and they wedded on June 28th, 1997. They both loved to listen and dance to good music and spending time with their growing family. Antonia was very active with her grandchildren and enjoyed planning holiday events for them and taking them on outings. Some trips included a stop at her favorite store "The Dollar Tree" where she found the most comfort in passing the time away. Antonia loved visiting with family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grand mother, and friend. She leaves behind many to cherish in her memories, a devoted husband, Wilford Hancel: Daughter, Nidia Sinclair-Prince, Michelle Dawson-Apolaris, Janielle Dawson-Graham, Kimberly Sinclair, Nakima, Georgette, Jasmin, and Pauline Hancel: Sons, Alexis Sinclair and Devon Ross. 23 grandchildren; Donald & Michael James, Rashad & Alexia Macfarlane, Michanti & Lechanti Jackson. Chenae, Alexis Jr, Amani, Imani, and Andrew Sinclair; Mariah Thomas; Carlosha, Carlos, Daishawn, and Carlena Roundtree, Devontay Sinclair, Shontayna White, Antoniette & Anthony Parton, Kharter Riley. Makia Hawkins, and Ricky. Great-grandchildren: Nova, Zion, Nylah & Navaiah. Sisters: Delores, Janet, Vilma, & Melvina, and Brother: Eduardo Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents Edward & Dorothy Williams, brother; Ernesto Bembridge, nephew; Lamont Bembridge, granddaughter; Thailia Thomas, and great-grandchild Jaylen Thomas.
