Catalina Cuervo

Catalina Cuervo, 41, born in Medellin, Colombia, daughter of Maria E. Gomez and the late Ramiro Cuervo, departed this life Wednesday, September 2nd, 2020. Catalina made an impact on everyone she met. She was a kind, fun, loving soul who cared deeply for her family and beloved friends. A devoted daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She was a strong-willed woman who loved to dance, sing, and be joyful in life. We find comfort in remembering her contagious laughter, her delicious and healthy recipes, and most importantly, her devotion to Jesus. We want to assure you that her faith and courage accompanied her until the last moment. Catalina is survived by her mother, Maria E. Gomez; her brothers, Fabián and Luis Julián Cuervo; her nieces Jennifer Jung, Yazmine Gutierrez, Katherine Cuervo and Stephanie Pintos; great-nieces and nephew, Anya Rizo, Liam Gutierrez Cuervo, Luna Gutierrez Cuervo, and Aracely Torres; sisters-in-law, Teresita and Tania Cuervo. A celebration of life will be held at The Mosaic Church (14175 W. Colonial Drive, Winter Garden, FL 34787) beginning at 11:30 am on Saturday, September 5th, 2020. Due to the current COVID-19 situation, wearing masks is highly encouraged. We ask that everyone attending please wear colorful clothing to honor Catalina’s wishes (no black please).
