Dean David Lindstrom Jr.

Dean David Lindstrom, Jr. 47 entered life December 16, 1967 and eternal life suddenly on April 15, 2015. He is survived by his father, Dean D. Lindstrom, Sr. of Millington, MI; mother, Shearon L. Lindstrom of Lk Orion, MI; sister Pastors Rhonda (Jeff) Chapman; nephews Josh, Andrew and Benjamin Chapman of Lake Orion, MI; many aunts, uncles and cousins; his long time friends Jeannette (Brian) Straudinger and family, Judy and BB. At last his church family at Bethany Pentecost Tabernacle. Dean was born in Flint, Michigan; graduated from North Branch Wesleyan Academy; went on to Detroit College of Business to obtain an Associate’s degree in Business Administration; and earned a Certificate of Completion from Associated Schools in Airline and Travel Agency Personnel in Florida. He spent most of his career working in the restaurant and motel business. Dean will be missed as a son, brother and friend. Many will remember his love for the sun and the tan that it brought while reading the paper. He had his shows Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune, and Jeopardy. Of course we all know that the ‘force is with us’ from Star Wars trilogy continued to be his favorite movie and the Saturday morning mystery cartoon, Scooby Doo. Spaghetti or Mac ‘n Cheese always on the menu. His many pictures he took and sent, his love for family and friends.Dean would remind us always that ‘life was too short’. That everyday counted whether we make a call, drop in for a short talk or send a card. Enjoy life but more, enjoy one another. As his sister, I would remind you even from this difficult time and unexpected death that God’s Word states, ‘Yet you do not know (the least thing) about what may happen tomorrow. What is the nature of your life? You are (really) a wisp of vapor (a puff of smoke, a mist) that is visible for a little while and then disappears (into thin air).’ James 4:14. We are not promised tomorrow but eternity. Earthly life is just the beginning to eternal life. Be ready; serve God because you never know when you will face Him. Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 11 am, we will have a memorial service with a luncheon to follow at Bethany Pentecost Tabernacle, 3575 Joslyn Rd, Lake Orion, MI 48339. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations ear marked for children’s ministry in memory of Dean to Bethany Pentecost Tabernacle.
