Glenn J. LaRose

Glenn J. LaRose of Orlando, Florida, born July 17th, 1954, passed away during the early morning of March 13th, 2013. Glenn is survived by: his wife, Dunrey; son, Kerry LaRose of Austin, Tx; daughter, Kaley LaRose of Houston, Tx; sister, Sue Wolf of Eagle, ID; brothers, Kerry LaRose of Detroit, MI and Ken LaRose of Detroit MI, and father Vaughn LaRose of Eagle ID. Originally from Detroit, Glenn had been living in the Orlando area for the past 10 years. Most of his career was spent with Masco Corp. of Taylor MI where he held multiple positions including; Marketing Director, Director of Operations and Regional Manager, for several divisions within the company. Glenn was passionate about living life, having fun and learning new things. His favorite activities included; water skiing, wakeboarding, snow skiing, riding motorcycles, playing his guitar, listening to music and following Detroit Tiger's baseball. He was a founding member of the WimpDoggs Ski Club, taking annual ski trips for the past 30 years. He loved to be anywhere on the water with friends, had just discovered kayaking, and was looking forward to retiring on the beach. An avid reader, art lover, and food connoisseur, he loved entertaining and cooking for all his friends and family. He leaves a legacy of mentoring and helping many young people build successful careers. He worked very hard at helping others be successful and took pride when they achieved their goals. Glenn was a caring, creative, warm-hearted man, who wanted to make a difference. He was young at heart, loved to laugh and lived life to the fullest ~ He was a wonderful husband and friend, and will be greatly missed.
