To my Kerry "Bird" My Love, Family, Best Friend, and wife in the whole world. Precious and special to the Chris "Pie" Kerry was a beautiful woman. She was a strong, devout Christian who loved her God, Lord Jesus Christ. She was spiritual, pure, and clean of heart. She had a most gentle, forgiving, non-judgmental, and unconditional loving soul. Her faith and devotion were unshakeable. Kerry was highly intelligent, loyal, and sweet to the core. She was loving and playful, and full of kind, encouraging words. Understanding and compassionate, she loved animals and people in need, and was helpful and supportive to various causes. She was also an excellent, accomplished, dependable and trustworthy nurse of 20 years experience. She was neat, organized, and kept our paperwork so well. She was a great partner and helper. Her interests were wide and varied. She was an excellent singer, having won some prizes and attention. She loved and always wanted to do makeup and hairstyling. She was artistic, creative and loved arts and crafts. Dancing, music, choreography and fashion were pastimes. She loved romantic movies, comedies and reading. She was an excellent writer of romantic fiction novels. She was athletic and enjoyed watching pro football, figure skating, swimming, and gymnastics. She also loved to spend time with her "Granny", who was like a mom to her. Kerry was easy going and spontaneous. Never having to plan, we did what came to mind. She was a warm, radiant, loving, sweet, sincere, loyal and devoted wife. She was positive and supportive; complimentary and respectful. She always looked up to me, concerned and worried for my best interest. She was a great listener and observer, always understanding and never nagging. Kerry was unselfish, sacrificing, and giving. We always loved spending time together and looked forward to every moment together. Through all her adversity and medical struggles, she was always patient, tolerant, and enduring. Her faith only grew stronger. We were alone with no family support and the medical community just gave up on her. Her adoptive father, and the rest of that family continue to choose to be absent from Kerry's life. Anyone who ignored her, especially through her struggles and adversities, should be ashamed. Cold hearted, controlling and domineering.....all Kerry wanted was love and acknowledgement. Her light was bright and shining, and it's their loss. I will always miss your presence, energy, and warm radiant smile. I hope and long to be with you again very soon. You always believed in me, looked up to me and always fought for, and defended me. You made me special in your heart. I'm sorry I was many times discouraged, negative and struggling with believing and finding faith. Taking care of you was the easy part, I'm lucky and grateful to have had you as my wife. You were so fun to be around, and made me happy. You always lifted me up and gave me hope. (You understood me more than my own family ever did) You were my rock. You were, and always will be, the only wife and woman I will ever love or be with. You loved life, and despite your pain and multiple surgeries you had to endure, we only wanted to be together always and grow old together. Such a wholesome, happy, sweet soul...why were you taken away so young?? The world is now a cold, cruel, and empty place again. I will always feel alone, empty, and lost without you.
