Leonard "Lenny" David Bunker

Leonard David Bunker, 40, passed away in Orlando, Florida on November 1, 2020. He was born in Plantation, Florida on December 29, 1979. He is survived by his wife, Debra Bunker; sons Devin and Darren; parents Leonard and Dora; and a host of loving family members and friends. Well, what could I say about Lenny? What couldn't I say about Lenny? He had an infectious smile and he could always make me laugh. He was my best friend, my lover, my husband. It's going to be hard for me to get used to not having him in my life, hearing his voice and seeing his beautiful face. We met 14 years ago and had a crazy life together. We had our ups and downs like many couples do. But we were far from like any other couple. No matter what we were always there for each other and I'm going to miss my other half. I'm just not whole anymore without him. Lenny wanted nothing more than to spend time with his youngest son Devin. He loved watching him grow from a baby to a preteen. He loved playing video games and going to the beach with him. He wanted nothing more than to watch him grow up to become a man. Lenny also wanted to develop a relationship with his oldest son Darron, he wished he could have watched him play baseball but he wasn't lucky enough to be able to do that, that was something he always deeply regretted. But the love he had for Darron never wavered. He loved them both very very much. And he really wanted them to get to know each other and become brothers. A bond he wants for them like the bond he had with his brother Kenny. Lenny was a talented carpenter and worked magic with his hands. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix. He learned everything from his father Lenny and was always grateful for all the things that his father taught him. Lenny also had a deep love and respect for his mother Dora and enjoyed getting all her advice about how to calm his mind and enrich his soul. Lenny also had a brother Kenny that he had great love and respect for. He thought of him not only as a brother but as a best friend and the times he spent with Kenny meant the world to him. Lenny had several Uncles, Aunts and Grandparents that he loved very much. Family was something that was always dear to his heart. Lenny had many friends and many wild stories to tell of all the crazy times he spent with them. One of his dearest and best friends was Avi, more like a brother than just a friend. Avi he was hoping to see you and meet your beautiful daughter and what you did for him in his final days, no words can be said for how grateful we both are for all your help. He loved you very much. When you became friends with Lenny you were friends with him for life. Whether you called him Lenny, Leonard or Leo he will be always be greatly loved and missed by everyone that was lucky enough to know him and love him.
