Mrs. Linda Lou Dunham

Linda Lou Donnersberger, Dunham On June 13, 2013 Linda Dunham passed away peacefully. A loving wife of 50 years, the best mother, a wonderful grandma and a caring friend. She was loved by so many. While all of her family and friends will miss her, she is with her Lord and Savior. We will all be reunited one day. In true Linda fashion, she left us with a list of family and friends to notify. Her address book has 100’s of family and friends contact information. She seldom missed your anniversary, birthday or if she knew you were sick, a get well card was on the way. Her annual Christmas letter is legendary and yes, as per her wishes, there will be a final edition. From her first job at the Knox County CO-OP through her retirement from the airlines, Linda met and loved countless people. Linda truly loved her life long association with the airlines and its people. She shared stories of meeting that special person on the other end of the phone, to meeting and having coffee with celebrities and dignitaries. She loved her work and traveling. She was a member of the Ozark Airline Alumni Association and recently received her 50 year Service Award. Her continuing love for her home town of Wheatland Indiana and its people was never ending. Having been born in the south part of Knox County and moving to Wheatland during the third grade, this small Indiana community continued to be her love, both during her time living there and throughout her life. She maintained lifelong friendships with people who she met in grade school and those friendships continued through today. Her High School graduating class still meets annually and she looked forward to attending to renew those old friendships. During her numerous hospitalizations, God sent the best Doctors, Nurses, Therapists and medical staff to provide her care. Unconditional love was given and received by the people that provided her care. Linda Lou Donnersberger was born on May 18, 1937 on the family farm to Joseph Henry and Ethel May Wampler Donnersberger. Linda married William David Dunham in 1963 and to this union; two sons were born: Mark (Olivia) Dunham, Orlando and Michael (Lauren) Dunham, Orlando; Five Grandchildren: Jasmine, Makenzie, Emily, Cole & Seth; several nieces and nephews; in-laws: Edward & Judy Dunham, Jane & Albert Shurtz and Donald Dunham. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Dorothy, Ruth; brother: Walter (Buss). Cremation and private family services were conducted by A Community Funeral Home, Orlando Florida. At Linda’s request, no memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the Wheatland Lions Club, PO Box 157 Wheatland, Indiana 47597. Rest in peace Dear Linda. You will always be remembered and never forgotten. Linda would always end every phone call and end every day with, ‘I Love You’. So we end this tribute to you with, I Love You.
