It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Luis Muniz, a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather, who peacefully departed this world on July 2, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will forever be treasured by those who had the privilege of knowing him. Born on July 22, 1943, Luis lived a life filled with purpose and dedication to his family. As a husband, he was a steadfast companion and a source of unwavering support to his beloved wife. Their bond was a testament to enduring love, shared laughter, and mutual respect that weathered the trials of time with grace and strength. As a father, Luis was a guiding light and a source of inspiration to his children. He imparted wisdom, instilled values, and offered unconditional love that shaped their lives in profound ways. His presence was a constant source of comfort and guidance, and his legacy will continue to guide them on their journey through life. As a grandfather, Luis was a wellspring of endless joy and laughter. His eyes sparkled with pride and love every time he looked upon his grandchildren, who adored him just as much in return. He was a source of endless stories, playful mischief, unwavering support, creating memories that will be forever cherished. Luis was a brave Vietnam veteran who served in the Army. During his service he demonstrated courage, dedication and selflessness in defense of his country. He continued to embody the values of the military throughout his life. Luis was known for his warm smile, his gentle spirit, and his willingness to help others in need. His kindness touched the lives of many, and his generosity knew no bounds. Whether through a listening ear, a helping hand, or a word of encouragement, he made a lasting impact on all who crossed his path. Though Luis may no longer be with us in body, his spirit lives on in the hearts of his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him. His memory will be cherished, his wisdom remembered, and his love forever treasured. In honoring the life of Luis, let us celebrate the legacy of a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, whose impact will be felt for generations to come. Military honors will be held at: Cape Canaveral National Cemetery Friday, July 19, 2024 @ 3pm A remembrance will be held afterward at the family home.
