Obituary of Margarita Barriga It is with deep love and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, Margarita Barriga. On April 21, 2026, she peacefully entered into the presence of the Lord, surrounded by the love of her family. Margarita was born on March 1, 1935, in Guayaquil, Ecuador. She was a woman of great strength, deep faith, and boundless love—a true pillar of her family and a devoted servant of God. Throughout her life, she reflected grace, kindness, and compassion in all she did. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family, offering unwavering support, wisdom, and unconditional love. Her presence brought comfort, unity, and warmth to all who knew her. She was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Segundo Barriga, who preceded her in death. Together, they built a life rooted in love, faith, and family. She leaves behind a beautiful and lasting legacy through her seven children: Isabel, Antonieta, Néstor, Freddy, Esther, Luby, and Stanley. She is also lovingly remembered by her 31 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a part of her spirit, faith, and devotion. She is also survived by her dear siblings—Carlos, Felipe, Victoria, Rosendo, and Matías—with whom she shared a lifetime of treasured memories and enduring love. She is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband and her precious child, Simón, whom she held in her heart always. While her passing leaves a deep void in our hearts, we take comfort in God’s promise of eternal life, trusting that she now rests in His heavenly peace. Her love will continue to guide us, living on in every embrace, every lesson, and every act of kindness we share. A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Rest in peace, Madrecita, Doñita, Mami, Mamita, Abuelita, Ñañita—our cherished Margarita Barriga. You will forever live in our hearts, and we rejoice in the hope that we will one day be reunited in God’s eternal glory. El 21 de abril de 2026, partió en paz a la presencia del Señor, rodeada del amor de su familia. Margarita nació el 1 de marzo de 1935 en Guayaquil, Ecuador. Fue una mujer de gran fortaleza, fe profunda y amor inagotable; un verdadero pilar de su familia y una fiel sierva de Dios. A lo largo de su vida, reflejó gracia, bondad y compasión en todo lo que hacía. Se dedicó por completo a su familia, brindando apoyo incondicional, sabiduría y amor sin límites. Su presencia llenaba de consuelo, unión y calidez a todos los que la conocieron. Estuvo unida en matrimonio con su amado esposo, Segundo Barriga, quien la precedió en la muerte. Juntos construyeron una vida basada en el amor, la fe y la familia. Deja un hermoso y duradero legado en sus siete hijos: Isabel, Antonieta, Néstor, Freddy, Esther, Luby y Stanley. También es recordada con amor por sus 31 nietos, 33 bisnietos y 2 tataranietos, quienes llevan en sus corazones su espíritu, su fe y su dedicación.
