She was a devoted mother, wife,sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend whose warmth and generosity touched everyone she met. Maribel had a passion for cooking and entertaining, always ready to feed anyone who came to her door. Her home was a place of laughter, good food, and heartfelt advice. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel loved and welcomed, and her wisdom was a guiding light to many. She is survived by her four children, Jerry Velazquez, Mariam Caban, Annie Caban, and Eddie Lopez, who will carry on her legacy of love and kindness. She also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren: Ariana Martinez, Jerry Velazquez Jr., Iyana Martinez, Tiana Martinez, and Tyson Martinez, who will always remember their grandmother's warmth and laughter. Maribel is also survived by her mother, Maria Perez, her stepfather, Alberto Perez, and her siblings, Luz Caban, Leicy Morales, and William Caban. Her beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends will forever hold her memory dear in their hearts. Maribel's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and community. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her spirit will continue to live on in the lives she touched.
