With faith in God’s promise of eternal life, we announce the passing of Oneida De La Rosa Sanchez, who entered the presence of the Lord on January 28, 2026, at 66 years of age. Born on May 15, 1959, daughter of Francisca Sanchez and Benito De La Rosa, Oneida lived a life deeply rooted in faith, love, and service to others. She was a devoted mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and mother-in-law. Oneida found joy in her family, in prayer, and in fully trusting God’s plan. Her strength, kindness, and unwavering faith in Christ were a testimony to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Oneida was an extraordinary woman whose presence was a blessing to everyone who knew her. She was always there for each of us, offering unconditional love, support, and comfort. She lived as a true example of strength and resilience, facing life’s challenges with grace, courage, and faith. Her love will remain forever in our hearts, and her legacy will continue to live on through all the lives she touched. She is survived by her daughter, grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews, father, and son-in-law. We find comfort in knowing that “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5:8). Words from her daughter: Mother, I love you and will always remember you. Thank you for being an example of perseverance, love, strength, and above all, faith. This is not goodbye; it is see you later. You are and always will be my great love. Nacida el 15 de mayo de 1959, hija de Francisca Sánchez y Benito De La Rosa, Oneida vivió una vida arraigada en la fe, el amor y el servicio a los demás. Fue una dedicada madre, hija, abuela, hermana y suegra. Oneida encontró gozo en su familia, en la oración y en confiar plenamente en el plan de Dios. Su fortaleza, bondad y fe inquebrantable en Cristo fueron un testimonio para todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla. Oneida fue una mujer extraordinaria cuya presencia fue una bendición para todos los que la conocieron. Siempre estuvo allí para cada uno de nosotros, ofreciendo amor incondicional, apoyo y consuelo. Vivi6 como un verdadero ejemplo de fortaleza y resiliencia, enfrentando los desafíos de la vida con gracia, coraje y fe.
