Pamela Anne Bromley

Pamela Anne (Fleck) Bromley, age 78, died peacefully surrounded by her six children, Sunday evening, June 9, 2019 at Cornerstone Hospice – Orlando Health Regional Medical Center. Pam was born October 11, 1940 in Jackson, Michigan daughter to the late Christian and Lorraine Fleck. Pam grew up in Jackson MI, graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic High School. She married her high school sweetheart Phillip Eugene Bromley and they were married 51 years and shared six children. In the early 1970’s they relocated to Pensacola, Florida where Pam earned her nursing degree and became Department Head Nurse - Emergency Room at Baptist Hospital. Once the children entered college, she and Phil relocated to Orlando Florida where she took her desire and passion for nursing to the next level in leading, educating, and mentoring nurses and paramedics. During her 18+ years in nursing Pam helped establish FENA and the GOENA (Greater Orlando) Chapter and was Past President (2X) of the Florida Emergency Nurses Association (FENA). In her spare time she pursued her other passion and hobby of scrapbooking. She opened her own scrapbooking store in Orlando so she could share her hobby, and love with others. In 2006 Pam and Phil retired to Mississippi to enjoy a slower pace of life together. Pam is proceeded in death to her husband Phil and is survived by her six children: Sons, Phillip Eugene Bromley II (wife Jill), Scott Bromley (wife Caroline), Christopher Bromley (wife Stephanie), Daughters, Nicole Bromley, Heather Bromley, Candice Sharpe (husband Gerald), brother, Michael Fleck and Sister Peggy McHugh (husband Mike), grandchildren, Phillip Bromley III, Christina Bromley, Alexander Bromley, Jacob Bromley, Mathew Bromley, Jonathan Bromley, Samuel Sharpe, Grace Sharpe, Taylor Fields, John Henry Fields, Mary Virginia Fields. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at Calvary Baptist Church located at 105 Dent Street in Macon, Mississippi 39341 on Saturday, June 29, 2019. Visitation beginning at 10:00am and Pastor Bill Ross will begin the service at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation toward a scholarship fund that was set up to honor Pam and the passion she had in mentoring nurses and paramedics as well as making a beautiful impression on the lives of her family, friends, colleagues and patients.
