Alicia Santiago

October 23, 1950 - December 13, 2021

On Monday, December 13, 2021, Alicia Santiago, loving wife, and mother of four, passed away at the age of 71. Alicia was born October 23, 1950, in Mayaguez Puerto Rico to Daniel Santiago and Gloria Ramos. She had thirteen siblings. Alicia is predeceased in death by her husband Domingo Casiano, son Jose Marty and granddaughter Selena Cortes. She was survived by her children Carmen Gloria, Carmen Alicia, and Luis Marty. She had six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Alicia was a collector of a lot of unique things. She always found a purpose for everything. She was always in the kitchen cooking for friends and family. She was known for her amazing pasteles and her food. She was truly a chef. She will be remembered for her amazing coffee. Alicia loved orchid plants and gardening outside. She loved picking fruit and vegetables from the plants she harvested. Alicia was a very crafty woman. She made curtains out of soda caps, pillowcases out of sheets, knitted blankets and even made chair covers. Alicia's jokes were one of a kind. There wasn't a day where you wouldn't laugh at the things she would say. She was so loving and caring. She loved to listen to music and dance. Her smile was the most infectious of all. She will truly be missed and live in all our hearts forever.
