Ana Filomena Sanchez

Ana F. Sanchez, 73 resided in Elmwood Park, NJ died peacefully in Orlando, FL on Monday, March 21, 2022. She was born on December 27, 1948, in Facatativá, Colombia. She was the youngest of 15 in her family and moved to Long Island, NY to stay with her sister, Lucy, to finish her high school education. She then went to cosmetology school to become a beautician. Soon she was in contact with her childhood sweetheart, Jaime Sanchez and married 50 wonderful years who preceeded her in death in 2020. She was a devoted wife, mother, beautician, and became a devoted catholic. Her passion was spending time with her children, grandchildren, friends and family. She always enjoyed family gatherings and loved to dance and travel. She was generous, kind, compassionate and most of all a wonderful woman with a transparent spiritual soul. She was a nurturer and loved us endlessly. We were extremely fortunate to have her as our Mommy. During her illness and various injuries, she always maintained to stay positive and strong as she always had faith in God. She is survived by her son, James and wife Leidy. Her daughter, Ivonne and husband Jason, and her youngest daughter, Ivette and husband Danny. Also her grandchildren, Nicholas, Jailyn, Alyssia, Naomi, Nicole and Ethan.
