Carlos Ruben Rivera Garcia Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

It is with extreme sadness to announce that Carlos Ruben Rivera Garcia, 58, passed on to his eternal rest with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ on February 20, 2022 in Orlando Florida. He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on January 8, 1964. Carlos moved from Puerto Rico to Ohio in 1985 and in the summer he married his now ex wife Yilda Nieves Rivera, to whom they had the most cherished people in his life and is survived by, son Carlos Ishmael Rivera, and daughter Yilmaris Rivera. He also had two grandchildren that he cared deeply for, Jacob Ishmael Rivera and Adrian Numa Rivera, as well as 7 siblings two sisters and 5 brothers. Carlos then moved to Orlando and started his career at Delta Airlines in 1990 and dedicated 32 years in the customer service department. Carlos loved working for Delta and took pride in his job, he was loved by all his co workers. Carlos was pleasant, professional and loved to make others laugh by making jokes at work he was truly a man loved by all Delta coworkers and all were honored to have worked with him. Carlos was a huge New York Yankees fan and always wore a hat of his favorite team everywhere he went. We would all remember of his second home (The Miller Ale House) where he often went and had a cold Stella while watching his favorite sports teams. He loved to go on vacation all year round especially on cruises which were his absolute favorite and would always plan for it to be a family trip. Family came first and was above all else, a value he instilled in all those around him. Carlos always took time to let you know how special you were to him. Carlos was a kind soul, humble, always offered a helping hand, he was friendly, and treated everyone with respect. His absence will be felt in the lives and hearts of those who knew him. You left us too soon and will be dearly missed and always remembered.
