Francis Walter Andrews

April 27, 1936 - March 22, 2022

FRANCIS WALTER ANDREWS, 85, of Apopka, met his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 23rd, 2022. Since 1981, he has been an active member of First Baptist Church Orlando, where he loved worshiping the Lord, and fellowshipping with others. His entire life was deeply dedicated to his family, and he enjoyed helping them and participating with them in all of their interests. His heart was also with the Orlando Union Rescue Mission and helping others in need. Francis was born in Norfolk, VA on April 27th, 1936, to Francis Samuel and Evelyn Wicks Andrews. At a young age, he gave his heart to Jesus, and was baptized at Kempsville Baptist Church, Virginia Beach. He moved to Orlando in 1952, graduated from Boone High School in 1955, attended Orlando Junior College, and began his career working as a machinist and mechanical design engineer. In 1983, he opened Andrews Injection Molding, a manufacturing business that he successfully owned and operated until his death. His wonderful life will forever be cherished by Gayle Parrott, with whom he exchanged vows on June 12, 1959. He is also survived by his children: Walter (Janet), Gregory (Laura), and Melinda (Mike); sisters: Anne Jackson and Evelyn Adair Payment (Mike); nine grandchildren: Stephanie (Travis), Benjamin (Hunter), Andrew, Joshua, Megan, Jonathan, James, Mary, and Sarah; and great-grandson, Thaden. A celebration of his life will take place at First Baptist Church Orlando, Henry Chapel, on Sunday, April 3rd, 2022 at 3pm.
