LouAnn Hernandez

September 2, 1971 - February 4, 2022

We regretfully announce the passing of LouAnn “Lulu” Hernandez of Orlando on February 4, 2022. Our mother, Lulu, was one of the strongest & bravest women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her. Lulu received her Master's degree in Education from Bank Street College (Columbia University). After graduating, she went on to pursue a career as a Teacher. Lulu taught for many years in New York City and went on to teach in Orlando. Lulu taught all grades from K-12 with a focus on Art and English. She loved the impact she made on her students. Lulu was also a passionate and loving mother who gave her all. She loved her family like no other. She especially loved being a grandma and loved spending time with her 3 grandkids. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her. Lulu was predeceased by her parents Norma & Luis. She is survived by her 3 children, Louann, Justin, & Jason, two sisters Norma, & Christina, grandchildren Adrian, Vincent, and Stella and her long-term partner Norman. Lulu impacted and touched so many lives. She will be forever missed and loved.
