Mary Elizabeth Hardy

May 17, 1944 - February 7, 2022

Mary E Hardy, 77 of Clover, SC passed away peacefully on February 7, 2022, surrounded by her daughters and 1 granddaughter. Mary was born on May 17, 1944 to Mary J and Donald E Northrup in Rockford, IL. After getting married she moved to Orlando, FL and then to Clover, SC. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, singing, crocheting and spending time with family and friends. Mary will be dearly missed and always remembered. Family came first and was above all else, a value she instilled in all those around her. She always took time to let you know how special you were to her. Her absence will be felt in the lives and hearts of those who knew her. Mary was predeceased by her first husband Raymond A Morgan, recently by her second husband Raymond L Hardy, parents, brothers; Roger, Donald, Ralph and Jimmy Northrup, Sisters Joyce Cass and Karen Enrico and son-in-law Ryan Wolford. She is survived by daughters; Corina (Mike) McCorkle, Sherry (Trish) Morgan, Christina (John) Westbrook and Cindy Wolford. 15 Grandchildren, 14 (soon to be 15) Great Grandchildren. As well as several nieces and nephews; her fur baby Baby Pumpkin. A celebration of life will be held at Firestone Wesleyan Church, 1700 Union Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054, on March 5, 2022 @ 12:30pm. Her final resting place will take place in early spring in Rockford, Illinois, date and location will be forth coming.
