Samantha Scott Addison Curren

May 30, 1964 - April 25, 2022

Samantha Scott Addison Curren passed away on April 25, 2022. She will be dearly missed by many, and most especially by her sister and best friend Kim Curren. Born in Concord Massachusetts on May 30, 1964, she grew up in the neighboring town of Maynard. From an early age she was fascinated by all things technical and used to come home with discarded parts from Digital Equipment Corporation, where our father Lee Curren worked, and built radios and clocks and other gizmos from the scraps . At 17, she joined the Marine Corp and proudly served her county while learning the field of avionics, which became her life’s work. She had just celebrated her 35 year anniversary with United Airlines in Orlando, Florida. Her favorite place in the world was Maine, and in particular, Pemaquid Point, where we have family roots. We went there every fall together for a pumpkin festival, and to enjoy the foliage, local art, food, shopping and last year, those amazing giant trolls at the Central Maine Botanical Gardens. She is survived by her sisters Kim Curren & Robin Boggs. Her Uncle Frank Curren, cousin Allison Curren, extended family, Smudge the cat, who will be staying in the family, and many friends & acquaintances she enjoyed meeting along the path of her life. Or, the Human Rights Campaign at hrc.org A celebration of life will be held at A Community Funeral Home & Sunset Creations at 910 West Michigan Street, Orlando Florida on Tuesday, May 3 at 10am.
