Stephanie Lane Reass

June 10, 1953 - January 14, 2022

Stephanie Lane Reass (68) passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 14, 2022 at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs, with her daughters by her side. She was born June 10, 1953 in Corona, CA. Stephanie graduated from Haines City High School in 1971 with Honors and then earned a degree from Polk Community College in 1973. She worked for Coca Cola in Natchitoches, Lousiana, then for Hughes Supply, a plumbing and electrical supply company in Winter Haven for many years before beginning her career in the financial investment industry. Stephanie is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Margaret Lane and brother Calvin Lane. She is survived by her two daughters: Lori (Ryan) Houmard of Haines City, and Kristin (Todd) Schmid of St. Petersburg. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Haileigh, Stephen, Corbin, and Cody. Stephanie never met a stranger. She had a heart of gold and was the definition of a true friend and mother. She loved spending time with friends shopping, going to the theater, concerts, and craft shows. Most of all she loved her family and instilled in her daughters strong values. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Plans for her celebration of life are in the works and will be shared at a later date. Her daughters ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida.
