Florentina Q Negrin

Florentina “Tina” Negrin, age 69, of Orlando, Florida, passed away Friday morning, September 5, 2025, at Orlando Regional Medical Center. She was born June 20, 1956, in Cebu City, Philippines, a daughter of the late Luis and Elsa Soon. Tina came to America in 1987 to fulfill her American dream, she worked as an Accounting Manager in an investment firm in Manhattan, New York. She retired in 2022, moved from NY and settled in Orlando, FL. Tina found joy in taking care of her grandson, preparing meals and finding loving gifts to celebrate seasons, birthdays, holidays and any special event. Family gatherings for holidays and special occasions delighted her. She was a devoted mother, the best sister one could ever have, a wonderful aunt, a very religious, generous and giving person. She will be missed by family and friends. To her family, Tina was more than a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, or mother-in-law she was true mother figure, offering guidance, comfort, and unconditional love. Her deepest concern was always for her son, ensuring he never struggled or carried too much alone. She gave selflessly. She had a gift for easing burdens and making life feel lighter for those she loved. Tina always put others first, making sure everyone was comfortable and cared for. She gave good advice, explained things with patience, and often lifted spirits with her own humor, creating laughter even in difficult times. Fiercely independent and strong, she faced life challenges with resilience and grace. Tina is survived by son Omar Angel Negrin, daughter-in-law Lisa Ayala Negrin and grandson Soren Angel Negrin. Her memory lives on with sisters, Lusille, Maria Epie, Sheila and Luel; niece, Aurel Marie, nephews; Glen Myhr, BJ, Gerard and Darren Matthew. She will also be forever cherished and remembered by her brothers-in-law; Joseph Lorenzo, Alberto and Jan. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 1:00pm, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1501 N. Alafaya Trail, Orlando, FL 32828. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to all who surrounded Tina with love, kindness, and support during her courageous battle with cancer. Your prayers, visits, messages, and care brought comfort and strength to Tina and us, and we will always hold that generosity close to our hearts. Your love was a reflection of God’s grace, and it gave Tina and our family great comfort.
