" Michael Allan Wells - In life: A dutiful husband, proud father of two, and compassionate brother. A native of Houston,Texas. He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. Settled down in Orlando,FL for the opportunity to join the Walt Disney World Company. He dedicated 30 plus years of service in Culinary followed by a brief contribution to Security. A perfectionist in the kitchen. He kept countless people safe and demonstrated the utmost leadership in both roles. An avid music lover, he spent much of his youth searching for new records . This often exposed him to exciting discoveries and an evolution in his musical taste. Eventually, he was inspired to take up drums and developed a lifelong passion for rhythm. All styles of percussion appealed to him. He especially admired marching band styled performances i.e the likes of Drum Corps International. He thoroughly enjoyed the live concert experience. His favorite acts included Kiss, Rush, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, and many others. Fishing was another past time. He loved the prospect of new spots to try which included local parks, beaches, and occasionally deep sea fishing. He also enjoyed NFL football ( Go Texans!). A fan of video games, he enjoyed notable titles such as The Legend of Zelda and the tactical elements of Call of Duty. He enjoyed puzzle challenges of all types. A naturally curious person with initiative to solve problems and overcome obstacles. A reliable source of wisdom via trial & error as well as life experiences. A handyman of sorts that thrived on newly acquired knowledge and thereby passing on valuable lessons. An individual of immense focus but also of boundless humor. An ever present child residing in an adult’s body. Daily life consisted of “Looney Tunes” gags and devising ways he could push the collective buttons of family members! A humble man that valued love and friendship over material items. A hero in every sense of the word: standing tall, smiling brightly, and facing each day head on to the best of his abilities. He will be deeply missed, but he lives on forever in our minds and hearts. We love you Papa… thank you for everything. "
